Valentine's Day; the season of love.
That special day where people put in extra efforts to show their loved ones how much they mean to them.
It was a Friday & I had to work as per normal.
So glad to be working opening shift for the month of February as I get to end work at 4pm on this special day. Thank goodness!
I had a date with Gabriel in the evening, which I was excited about as we seldom go on dates, except for special occasions like today.
My family had Wild Honey @ Mandarin Gallery back in 2017 for Christmas and Gabriel has been wanting to dine there again ever since that dinner (though he can't remember what he had ordered back then)

We got the outdoor seats as their indoor seating were fully taken, but it's fine!
This restaurant has a pleasant ambience -- view of the city lights & the light, cool breeze that made that night memorable.

We ordered All day breakfast - English & Norwegian; which is simply smoked salmon on top of toasted bread.

I'm a sucker for flowers and I defnitely had to get a picture with my bouquet of flowers that Gabriel gave.
Extremely gorgeous!
One thing that I want to point out about getting the outdoor seats is that the tables are pretty near & we kept getting distracted by the tables beside us as they are pretty loud!
Also, the waiters are stationed indoors & we had to wait a long time to order & call the bill.
Nevertheless, it was a great dinner where we get to eat & talk about things that we usually don't have the time to share about.
After the dinner, we went on to meet up with Gabriel's friends as they were nearby as well.

So happy to get nicely-taken Valentine's Day pictures this year!

We hanged out with his friends & went for a quick drink before heading home & parting ways as I got to work the next day.

Ending this blog post with throwback pictures of Valentine's Day celebration with Gabriel.
